Let's also not forget about the false charges to my account saying we rented paper views we've never heard of.
Like every other cable service in southern West Virginia, they are cooks. My mother is paying these people a VERY substantial sum of money a month for a router that doesn't work right and they refuse to replace because none of their "technicians" understand that the connection between the computer and the router is different than the connection between the router and the internet. Her television has almost channels worth watch and her telephone service loves to cut out at random times or only allow one party on the line to hear and speak with the other. I do not understand how I am paying less for business class internet, telephone, and television than my mother does for Shentel's basic package. But then again this is southern West Virginia and companies like this move in, kill or buy all the competition, then bleed all the poor people for what little money they get a month out of the coal mines and retirement checks.
So because of all of the headaches, I've simply had enough. I'm going to switch to satellite and hopefully have a much better experience. Thanks for the awful quality of service and have a good day.
Once again this company has allowed me to miss yet another pay per view which makes 3 in a row. I've been waiting weeks for these fights (ufc 200) and as a precaution we even called the customer support about the situation a weak ago. They assured us everything would go through just fine, however this was simply not the case and my expectations for this failing company became a reality. The pay per view only black screened and told us to call customer service only to have rude person basically telling us it's not his problem.
Great customer service and technical support
There is a special place in hell for this company, right beside Comcast and Cox.
And finally, let's remember that they have took some of the best channels off such as amc which mind you has the most popular tv show "the walking dead" claiming is was to expensive for the company.
